KTA-Office at the Federal Office for the Safety of Nuclear Waste Management

Tasks
The affairs of the Nuclear Safety Standards Commission (KTA) are managed by the KTA-office (KTA-GS), which is lead by a Managing Director. The Managing Director reports to the Executive Committee (Präsidium). The KTA-office is bureaucratically attached to the Federal Office for the Safety of Nuclear Waste Management (Bundesamt für die Sicherheit der nuklearen Entsorgung - BASE).
The KTA-office publishes the following reports:
- Annual Report of the KTA
The Annual Report provides information regarding the activities of the KTA and the development of its standards programm. - Glossary
The Glossary (Begriffe-Sammlung) provides the definitions of all KTA safety standards as well as additional important definitions from other sources (i.e. standards and regulations). - Reports
Reports are issued to specific topics according to decisions of the KTA. - English translations
English translations of all KTA nuclear safety standards are provided.
All publications are availbale in print via the KTA-office (see below) and electronically on this website.
